Explore the possibility of homeownership. Attend a free Get the Facts! workshop designed to break down barriers of misinformation that keep many individuals from considering homeownership. Find out how you may be eligible for down payment assistance! The USDA will also present their loan program.

The workshops, conducted by Fiscal Progress, provide straightforward information and advice about all aspects of homeownership, including costs associated with home buying and credit history requirements. For example, a 20 percent down payment and perfect credit are no longer the industry standards for getting a mortgage.

For more information, call Tarin Washington with The Women's Center at 968-4610 or you may register here. Please register early as this is a popular event.

Freddie Mac, one of the nation's largest residential mortgage investors, created the Get the Facts! workshops.
